Bohol's Man-Made Forest

Bohol's Man-Made Forest

The Bohol man-made forest is about two (2) kilometers long which is located in the border of Loboc and Bilar and about twenty (20) kilometers away from Tagbilaran City.

After going to Tarsier Conservation Center in Loboc and before we go to the famous Chocolate Hills, we go through this beautiful man-made forest and you will really smell the fresh air came from these tress as well as you will be refreshed by the cold breeze. I, myself is a nature lover so I appreciate those high-rise Mahogany trees as well as the story behind this project. As per our tour guide (a local from Bohol), their former governor is an Agriculturist and he required each college students to plant a Mahogany tree before graduation. I salute those students who planted the trees.

I really hope that this man-made re-forestation project will never stop as it will continue the conservation of the forest and it will also attract more tourists to go in Bohol.
